The proposed idea is that relaxing scalp muscle eases how tightly the scalp pulls and increases blood flow. Experiments also report that it reduces the signal that makes hair thinner. Treating the scalp is not an approved use, and clinics in Korea use it as an add-on to standard oral and topical treatment.
One session lasts three to four months. This treatment alone does not increase hair, though — it is an add-on that assumes oral and topical medication are already in place. It is used for people whose scalp feels tight, and if the base treatment stops, results are hard to expect regardless of the interval.
