Suits managing melasma and dark spots gently over several visits.
Firing the laser in extremely short pulses leaves no time for heat to spread, so only a shockwave is delivered. Pigment particles break into fragments small enough for the body to clear. With little heat damage there is less irritation to surrounding skin and less risk of pigment settling, and sessions are split over several visits.
It is done in five to ten sessions at two to six week intervals. Brightening shows from the third, because it breaks pigment into fine fragments rather than shattering it hard in one pass, so sessions are needed. Clearing the fragments also takes the body that long.
