Used most often as a finish to speed recovery after laser.
Cells release very small vesicles to pass signals to one another. These vesicles are collected from the fluid stem cells are grown in, and they carry a range of growth factors and proteins. They work toward waking skin cells and calming inflammation. In Korea they are classified as a cosmetic, so they are applied and absorbed after a laser or needling treatment opens a path.
It is done in three to four sessions at two to three week intervals. Redness reduces and tone brightens from two to four weeks, because the ingredient signals to cells and that response takes time to appear. Combined with laser or needle treatments, absorption increases and recovery is faster.
