It is a finishing step added right after laser or needle treatment to cool heated skin. Redness and heat settle faster and pores look temporarily tighter. Rather than scheduled care, its role is to be added on the day of an irritating treatment to lighten that day’s load.

It cools the skin quickly to contract vessels, so the irritation is low — it lowers temperature rather than acting on tissue the way heat or needles do. If you are sensitive to cold or have a cold-related condition, though, say so before the treatment.

Cryo lowers the temperature immediately and settles things on the spot. LDM delivers fine vibration repeatedly to stabilise the skin, so its effect accumulates over sessions. For cooling heat right after a treatment, cryo is faster; for managing a persistently sensitive state, LDM fits.
